feat(website): OS-aware install command and devspace.run/install - #436
The landing page still tells people to run npx @waishnav/devspace init, and the installers from #434 only have long raw GitHub URLs. This gives them short URLs and puts the right one in front of each visitor, the way OpenCode's landing page leads with its install command.
devspace.run/install and devspace.run/install.ps1 are now 302 redirects to the scripts on main, declared in website/public/_redirects. Blume's redirects option looked like the obvious tool, but a test build showed it nests the path under the /docs basePath and emits an HTML meta-refresh page without any _redirects entry, which curl | sh would pipe straight into the shell. A _redirects file shipped in public/ lands at the site root untouched, and Cloudflare applies redirects before serving any asset, so clients always receive the script. The installer headers switch to these URLs.
On the landing page, the hero and the closing call to action get macOS / Linux, Windows, and npm tabs above the copy button. The page preselects Windows from the user agent and otherwise defaults to the curl command; every tab group, both copy buttons, and the nav Install button stay on the same choice. Detection only picks the default, so every method stays one click away.

After, macOS / Linux default:
After, with a Windows user agent, and the closing call to action:
The redirect has only been verified in the built output (dist/_redirects), not against a live Cloudflare deploy; a quick curl -sI https://devspace.run/install after deploy should show the 302. This PR also carries the user-facing docs held back from #434: the README and quickstart lead with the installer, doctor's description drops the native SQLite and ABI wording, and the better-sqlite3 could not load troubleshooting entry goes away. It also switches both installers' default from the beta dist-tag back to latest. Merge it with the stable v1.1 release, when npm latest becomes a version without better-sqlite3. The screenshots live on the pr-assets/landing-install branch, which can be deleted after merge.
Added installation options for macOS, Linux, WSL, and Windows, with commands tailored to each platform.
Added install-command tabs to the website, including automatic selection based on operating system.
Installers default to the latest release, provide a compatible Node version when needed, and can be rerun to update DevSpace.
Added short URLs for the platform installers.
Documentation
Updated installation, setup, and troubleshooting instructions to use the installers or the global devspace command. Global npm installation remains available as an alternative.

Waishnav/devspace#434: Adds the shell and PowerShell installers that this PR documents and exposes through short URLs.
Waishnav/devspace#439: Changes both installers to revalidate npm metadata during reruns.
The installation changes are mergeable with awareness that a failed Unix download can report a successful exit status to scripts or chained commands. Interactive users still see the curl error. The install picker’s accessibility concern is fixed.

Explanation
The title "feat(website): OS-aware install command and devspace.run/install" matches the main change in the changeset. The PR adds OS-aware install tabs (macOS/Linux, Windows, npm) to the landing page and short devspace.run/install URLs with 302 redirects in website/public/_redirects. The title is specific and concise, and it names both the website feature and the install URL change. Switching the default tag does not avoid the better-sqlite3 failure.
Both installers now default to latest, which resolves to @waishnav/devspace@1.0.8. That version depends on better-sqlite3. Its native binding is built by an install script. Both installers pass --ignore-scripts, so the binding is not built. devspace serve then fails with "better-sqlite3 could not load for this Node runtime."
The beta tag has the same dependency (1.1.0-beta.1 through 1.1.0-beta.5). Reverting the default to beta does not fix the failure. Do not use the tag change as the fix.
A correction needs one of these before the default tag is relied on:
An install path that builds the better-sqlite3 binding.
A published release that does not depend on better-sqlite3.
Note: this behaviour predates this PR (already present at merge base 2c6c92a9d798); the change keeps it reachable.

Document that the published curl pipeline hides fetch failures.
The Unix install command is curl -fsSL https://devspace.run/install | sh. This command is now the default on the landing page and in the README and quickstart. The pipeline has no pipefail and no separate check of curl's status. When the fetch fails, curl writes no script content, sh reads empty input and exits 0, and the pipeline reports success. curl still prints its error text on stderr, so the failure is visible. The false success affects only callers that read the exit status, such as chained commands (&&) or scripts.
No safe one-line change is established. A POSIX sh pipeline cannot rely on pipefail, and sh -c "$(curl ...)" loses the status in the same way. If exit status matters, use a two-step form in the published commands: curl -fsSL https://devspace.run/install -o devspace-install.sh && sh devspace-install.sh. This changes the command in content.ts, README.md, and the quickstart, so the team should decide on it.

Keeping the one-liner: it is the same pattern OpenCode and Pi publish, and the script cannot act on a partial download because everything is in functions and only the last lines call them, so an empty or truncated fetch runs nothing. curl's -f error still prints on stderr.
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
@Waishnav Understood. Keeping the one-liner is an accepted trade-off for the interactive install flow. My concern was only that the pipeline can return success after a fetch failure, not that the failure produces no visible error. The function layout does not change that exit-status behavior.
I will not press for a command change or an added note.
A public/_redirects file 302s /install and /install.ps1 to the scripts
on main. Blume's own redirects option was not usable here: it nests the
path under the /docs basePath and emits an HTML meta-refresh page, which
curl | sh would pipe into the shell. Cloudflare applies _redirects before
serving any asset, so clients always get the script. The installer
headers now use the short URLs.

Keep the better-sqlite3 troubleshooting entry, scoped to 1.0.x installs
that still ship the native module, and lead with upgrading. The install
method picker had tab roles without tab keyboard behavior; it is a group
of toggle buttons with aria-pressed instead.
