Answers to common questions about Selldone Components, including setup problems. If your question is not here, open an issue.

Do I need the whole Selldone stack to use one component?

It depends on the family. U* components (prices, inputs, date pickers, charts, maps) need little beyond Vue, Vuetify and the plugin. S* components need the Storefront SDK and an injected $shop; B* components need the Backoffice SDK and an access token. See Storefront vs Backoffice.

Why are there no prebuilt dist files?

The package publishes TypeScript and .vue source ("main": "index.ts"). Your bundler compiles only what you import. Use Vite (or another bundler with Vue SFC, TypeScript and SCSS support) and install sass.

A component renders but shows no data

Check that the SDK for its family is set up before the app mounts (StorefrontSDK.Setup() or BackofficeSDK.Setup()), that $shop is provided for storefront components, and look at the network tab for failing API calls.

Vue warns injection "$shop" not found

Provide the shop from your root component: provide() { return { $shop: computed(() => this.shop) }; }. The Storefront does this in StorefrontApp.vue.

Icons show as text (for example "shopping_cart")

Load the icon fonts in your entry file: @selldone/components-vue/style/fonts/material-design-fonts/material-design-icons.scss and @fortawesome/fontawesome-free/css/all.css. See Theming and Styles.

Notifications do not appear

Render UNotificationSide (ui/notification/side/UNotificationSide.vue) once in your root component and make sure window.$t is defined by your i18n setup. See Directives and Services.

How do I change the brand colors?

Set the color--theme-light, color--theme-dark, color--theme-deep-dark and color--theme-info meta tags, or define window.CUSTOME_TEMPLATE. See Theming and Styles.

Where are the texts translated?

In selldone/translate. Storefront texts are in its shop/ folder, dashboard texts in dashboard/, and shared texts in global/. Corrections are welcome there.

Can I use these components outside Selldone?

Read the License section of the README and the LICENSE.md file first. Technically, most S* and B* components call Selldone APIs and will not work without a Selldone account.

How do I work on the library and see changes in my app?

Use yarn link as described in the contribution guide and DEVELOPMENT.md.
