Proposal: official ZCode iPhone Companion for remote agent sessions

Hi Z.ai team,

I am posting this here because the main zai-org/ZCode repository currently has
Issues disabled, and this repository appears to be the closest open ZCode
ecosystem channel.

I have been using and contributing around the ZCode ecosystem, and I would like
to propose/help with an official ZCode iPhone Companion.

Part of why I care about this is that I really enjoy using GLM models in serious
development work, especially in the development of my own programming language
and compiler ecosystem. My day-to-day work touches agent orchestration,
compiler/runtime engineering, verification workflows, CI, DevOps, and
human-in-the-loop review. That gives me a strong practical testbed for ZCode:
not just small examples, but real long-running language-engineering sessions
where mobile supervision would be genuinely valuable.

I do not mean a full mobile IDE as the first step. I mean a focused iOS companion
for remote ZCode sessions:

• monitor running agents and goals
• approve or deny sensitive tool calls
• review diffs, PRs, logs, and receipts
• send short steering messages to active sessions
• receive CI/check notifications
• connect securely to a desktop or remote ZCode workspace

I noticed there is already community interest around mobile access. I think an
official version could be much stronger if it focuses on security, consent,
workspace visibility, and session control rather than trying to replicate desktop
coding on a phone.

My suggested framing is:

Mobile is the trust surface. The agent can keep working, while the human keeps
authority.

This could also give ZCode strong technical visibility: an official iPhone
companion demonstrated on real compiler/language-development workflows, with
transparent approvals and receipts, would show the product as a serious agentic
engineering environment rather than just another coding assistant.

If this aligns with your roadmap, I would be happy to help draft the product
spec, prototype the iOS shell, or contribute to the protocol/client boundary.

Suggested MVP:

• sign in with the same Z.ai/ZCode account
• list active sessions and goals
• show agent state, current action, and pending approvals
• approve/deny sensitive tool calls with clear risk labels
• inspect diffs, CI checks, and receipts
• push notifications for approvals, blocked goals, and completed goals
• Face ID/passcode gate for high-risk approvals
