The spec now focuses on the imperative registerTool() API. Declarative WebMCP is still being explored in the Declarative API Explainer.

  • Spec: remove the declarative section and its references; rename "imperative execute steps" to "invoke the execute callback".
  • Explainer: emphasize the imperative API and note that declarative is being explored.

- Remove the Declarative WebMCP section, the declarative JSON Schema
synthesis algorithm, and declarative execute steps from the spec.
- Rename "imperative execute steps" to "invoke the execute callback".
- Update the explainer to focus on the imperative registerTool() API
and note that a declarative API is being explored separately.
