Truewire

Typed clients, true to the wire.

Truewire turns any API, documented or not, REST or WebSocket, into a typed, validated client you can trust. Record real wire examples, declare what a schema can't say (pagination, envelopes, streams, redaction), generate the client, replay the examples in a mock server, gate everything.

  • truewire: the toolchain. Spec format, checks, mock server, Python generator, truewire-core runtime.
  • registry: community specs with recorded examples, one directory per API.
  • site: truewire.dev.

Status: alpha, Python first, TypeScript next. Apache-2.0 toolchain, MIT runtime, CC0 specs.
