Background image on intro page is blurry in desktop view

Hi there,

Came across your post on Proc Macro Debugging and liked it because I had this exact problem a few days ago.

Anyway, I was navigating the site and found that the background image on https://tensorbase.io/ was very blurry when viewed in the in a desktop browser. It looks okay on my phone because the screen is smaller.

I'm pretty sure the reason is because the image is JPEG compressed and JPEG does poorly with images with lots of variance in dots. Maybe try PNG?

You are right. To make it small enough for fast downloading, I use some tool to ultra-compress the jpg image.

It is planned to have a new look of the website when next edition releasing in some near future. So, this problem is hoped to be fixed in that time point.
