v3.0.1Compare Source
Patch release: correct moon phase timing. No API changes.
MoonIllumination.PhaseandWaxingnear new and full moon. The phase was timed by right ascension and could pass 0 / 0.5 up to about 3 hours away from the real new or full moon, enough to put a full moon on the wrong calendar day in some time zones. It is now derived from the Moon–Sun difference in ecliptic longitude, so 0, 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 match the USNO phase times, andWaxingflips exactly at the full moon. Port of SunCalc JS v2.1.1 (https://github.com/mourner/suncalc/releases/tag/v2.1.1).Resolves: mourner/suncalc#190
FractionandAngleare unchanged.Phasevalues can shift slightly near the phase boundaries; for example 2013-03-05 00:00 UTC is now 0.75320 instead of 0.75280.Install:
dotnet add package SunCalcNet --version 3.0.1· NuGetv3.0.0Compare Source
3.0.0 is a breaking release. Sun and moon phases now work in the observer's local calendar day and return local times, so you no longer have to convert UTC results or worry about which day you get near midnight. See Migrating to 3.0.
