feat(now): steady flow on the ring (J), as the phone draws it - #114

Conversation
Fredrik picked J, steady flow, for Now's ring on 30 October 2026, and the iPhone app draws it since srcfl/ftw-app#132. The browser now draws the same ring. Thin lines of light run all the time between each arc and the home's circle, a wavelength (15 px) apart and faster with more power: in toward the home for power coming into it, out for power leaving it. They keep their angle, so they narrow near the home. The arc no longer carries a wave. It is brightest over its middle third with no hot ends, lights at least a quarter of its quarter, and each new reading from the box (site.lastFrameAtMs) sends one swell from its middle out past its ends. In the dark the arcs and lines glow in two blurred passes for the whole ring, on canvases of their own. Under reduced motion nothing runs or swells, and a still chevron on the way shows the direction. The rules are the app's Flow.swift (ringStrength, ringEase, ringSwell, ringSwellDuration, ringLines) with its tests ported. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Problem
Fredrik picked J, steady flow, for Now's ring on 30 October 2026, and the iPhone app draws it since srcfl/ftw-app#132. The webapp still drew the older ring, with a wave along the arc, so the phone and the browser showed the same home in two different ways.
Change
site.lastFrameAtMs, now passed toEnergyRingasreadingAt) sends one swell from the arc's middle out past its ends.ringStrength, ringEase, ringSwell, ringSwellDurationandringLinesare ported from the app'sFlow.swift, with its tests. Light means live is unchanged: only confirmed live readings glow or move.Paired work, not a dependency: srcfl/ftw-web#37 draws the same ring on ftw.energy.
Evidence
npm run verify: 1183 tests pass (2 skipped), types clean, build OK.ring-motion.test.tscovers a swell per reading, no swell on the first reading, a quiet arc, a frame drawn at rest or under reduced motion, the swell's path, the lines' spacing and direction, the ease and the strength.EnergyRing.svelte.test.tsnow counts the glow on its own layers.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
