📚 Description

Standalone installs replaced the CLI without asking. The CLI now checks in the background and shows an upgrade banner. The next terminal invocation offers Upgrade now, Not now, or dismissal for that version.

Confirmation installs the signed standalone release or runs the recognized global package manager, then exits. Package commands name the exact version shown. Agent runs, CI, pipes, and machine output stay non-interactive.

CLI upgrade flow: background checks populate the cache; the next invocation asks before running an installer

Agent-generated preview from the terminal renderer, with colour enabled:

Upgrade prompt and banner with a cyan frame, green version, yellow command, and highlighted choice

Inspected the rendered frame for contrast, alignment, and clipping. The terminal flow also passed with colour enabled and with NO_COLOR.
