📚 Description

Windows directory symlinks fail during replacement, removal, and transaction rollback because cleanup calls the file removal operation. Use directory removal for these links without following their targets.

Reject Windows-invalid Artifact filenames, including reserved device names with superscript digits. Reject direct-download file paths that differ only by ASCII case, matching the existing Artifact rules. Keep quoted GitHub source paths valid because those paths remain remote.
