Two commits:

  1. CI and tests. .github/workflows/ci.yml (SHA-pinned actions, permissions: contents: read): php -l bootstrap.php on 8.0-8.5 (its own claimed floor), PHPUnit on 8.2 and 8.5 (8.2 is the real install floor via restruct/dot-static ^2.0) with --fail-on-skipped. Tests (new, require-dev phpunit ^11.5 || ^12.0): resolution order per constant (GS_PATH, CONVERT_PATH, SOFFICE_PATH: predefined constant, executable env var, non-executable/empty env var falls back, system path), independence of the three, double include; and on Linux that DotStatic::isAvailable() / Xpdf::isAvailable() resolve the bundled binaries through the umbrella install. Child processes, since the constants are define-once.
  2. Docs cleanup. CHANGELOG 2.0.0 dated with the tag's date (2026-09-29); em dashes out of the suggest texts; the UPGRADING init_paths() row no longer names project-specific systems (init_paths($requiredSystems): 1.x only recognised its own hard-coded system names, so placeholder names would have described a call that never errors).

Docs and CI only: no release.

Tests cover bootstrap.php's resolution order for GS_PATH, CONVERT_PATH and
SOFFICE_PATH (constant, env var, system path) with stub binaries, and that
the required sub-packages resolve their bundled Linux binaries.

…neutral UPGRADING row

- CHANGELOG: 2.0.0 heading dated with the tag's commit date (2026-09-29).
- composer.json suggest texts: em dashes replaced.
- UPGRADING: the init_paths() mapping row no longer names project-specific
  required systems.
