I still need admin access on my two repos at least: https://github.com/reactjs/react.net and https://github.com/reactjs/react-magic. I'll have to double-check whether I'm the primary contributor to any of the other repos.
I may resume translation work for https://github.com/reactjs/id.react.dev. I will double check with @resir014 (not mentioned here) which was an early external contributor for previous react docs website.
Hi @mattcarrollcode I'd love to keep admin access for https://github.com/reactjs/zh-hans.react.dev. Thanks!
I'd love to resurrect translations for https://github.com/reactjs/hu.react.dev, so I'd like to keep access.
@mattcarrollcode hello, there, I think I’ll finally be able to resume working on the translated content (even though many years have passed), so I’d like to keep my membership in the organization as before, if possible.
Hey all, same I was planing to resume my work on translations for my native language
Hello @mattcarrollcode ,
The official React Chinese documentation project was originally built based on my project: https://github.com/discountry/react. I still hope to retain maintenance and access permissions for the Chinese documentation repository at https://github.com/reactjs/zh-hans.react.dev. Thank you.I may resume translation work for reactjs/id.react.dev. I will double check with @resir014 (not mentioned here) which was an early external contributor for previous react docs website.
Hi @grikomsn and @mattcarrollcode - I will be able to resume the ID translation contribution effort as well.
Hi @mattcarrollcode I was planning to resume my work on translations for my native language, kindly return me back
Reacted by Milan VasicHi @mattcarrollcode ,
I’m resuming active contributions to the Arabic localization effort for ar.react.dev and just opened PR #668 for "setup" translations and fixing the errors of linting and building. I also plan to continue contributing through the remaining pages tracked in the localization issue.
It would be helpful to retain my maintainer access so I can continue supporting maintenance tasks around pending PRs and ongoing localization work.
Thanks.
As part of the transition to the React Foundation, we are performing a cleanup of access the reactjs GitHub organization.
Why is this happening?
This GitHub organization has historically accumulated a large number of members and outside collaborators, many of whom no longer actively contribute. As we establish the React Foundation, we are tightening access to ensure that org membership reflects active contributors and maintainers.
We removed accounts that had no recent activity or no longer needed org-level access. Being removed does not reflect negatively on you or your contributions. Many removed accounts belong to valued past contributors whose work helped shape React. This is purely an access hygiene measure.
What if I need access restored?
If you believe your access was removed in error, or you have an active need for org membership (e.g., you maintain a package, contribute translations, or have an upcoming contribution), please reply to this issue with a brief explanation of why you need access and I will review and respond.
