Allow hosts to advertise features/settings at runtime #55
The ABI version currently enforces only the function signatures, but we have no way to change the meaning of various parameters, or negotiate settings at runtime.
Do you already have a proposal for this, or does the proposal come as the first part of implementing this?
Is the general idea that the host will export the full v0.2 ABI in addition to generic callbacks with various arities (like this)? Then the SDK is responsible for reading the feature enums exported by the host and dispatching calls to SDK methods to one of the overloaded matching-arity function?
