Hi, I'm Pat. I work at Octopus Deploy and most of my open source time goes into Argo CD, where I'm an approver for the CLI and the docs. Before Kubernetes and GitOps I spent many years on code quality tooling around SonarQube, and I co-wrote SonarQube in Action for Manning.
In Argo CD I review a lot of pull requests, fix bugs in the application controller and the API server, and help with security advisories. I've also been working on the e2e suite, so that it runs faster in CI and fails less often for reasons that have nothing to do with the change under test.
Outside Argo CD I'm building oss-chronicle, a GitHub Action that shows who actually built a project's releases. It counts finished work like landed pull requests, reviews, merges and triage instead of raw GitHub events, and publishes the result as a page you can host next to your docs.
