Aurora only had a section under MySQL. This adds the Postgres side.

Claims checked against the AWS docs.

Copilot review overview

🔵 Needs a closer look

The changes assert many AWS Aurora and PowerSync-internal technical claims (replication-slot counts, writer-UUID resnapshot behavior, Limitless/Serverless v2 support, certificate verification) that cannot be verified from the repository and warrant domain-expert human review.

What changed in this PR

This PR adds Aurora Postgres documentation for source-database setup and connection, which previously only existed for Aurora MySQL. It introduces a dedicated "AWS Aurora" accordion for Postgres in both the setup and connection pages (covering scaling options, cluster-parameter-group logical replication, the writer/cluster endpoint, and Private Endpoint caveats), and in the process restructures the Aurora MySQL guidance into <Steps>, extracts a reusable RDS Postgres user snippet, and clarifies the PrivateLink target-group/failover caveats. It also removes legacy "(or legacy Sync Rules)" asides from the edited pages per repository policy.

Changes:

  • Add Aurora Postgres setup steps (setup.mdx) and connection steps (connection.mdx), plus a restructured Aurora MySQL flow and a new reusable postgres-rds-powersync-user.mdx snippet.
  • Clarify PrivateLink behavior for Aurora failover/certificate hostname verification in private-endpoints.mdx and connection.mdx.
  • Add Aurora, GTID, and GTIDs to the Vale accepted vocabulary and drop legacy Sync Rules asides from edited pages.
