Adds two maintainer rules to AGENTS.md, each merged into an existing line:

  • Everything is configless, with opinionated names and defaults. A vanity rename, if ever supported, is opt-in and lives inline in source next to the item, never in a config file.
  • An unsupported construct is a compile error with a source span, never a runtime failure. Generated code panics only where the Rust source does.

Consumers: the ffi exporter's ffi/moq/ffi.toml (excludes, renames, prefix), which the planned configless ffi quest deletes; and rust2-ts's runtime "can't answer" errors (rs.arcErase, offset_from across arrays, #584's pointer comparison), which a planned quest moves to translation-time refusals.

Public API impact: none.

✅ No new issues found.

Reviewed changes — both commits in full (the complete AGENTS.md diff).

  • Compile error over runtime failure — the fail-loud rule now pins unsupported constructs and malformed inputs to a compile error with a source span, and generated code panics only where the Rust source does. Consistent with the existing translator rules and the planned quest to move rs.arcErase/offset_from runtime checks to translation-time refusals.
  • Configless tooling, renames inline — the config rule gains an explicit configless-and-defaults statement, plus a new bullet making vanity renames opt-in and inline in source, never config. Matches the planned deletion of ffi/moq/ffi.toml.

PR-body claims verified: ffi/moq/ffi.toml exists, and the runtime "can't answer" behaviors are documented in ts/README.md:112.
