search finds no usages in flow, expression or page bodies until the source index is built, and still exits 0 #1771
mxcli version: v0.30.0 (2026-11-02T17:31:03Z)
OS: Windows 11 (Git Bash, MINGW64)
Steps to reproduce
Take a fresh clone of a project in which microflow MyModule.SUB_Do is called from another microflow.
Run mxcli search -p app.mpr "SUB_Do".
Run mxcli callers -p app.mpr MyModule.SUB_Do (or refs / impact).
Run refresh catalog full source and repeat step 2.
Expected
Step 2 finds the call in the microflow body, the way step 3 does. If the body text is not indexed yet, search should either build or read it, or report that the result is incomplete: a non-zero exit code or a machine-readable flag. A read-only way to ask whether the source index exists would also help.
Actual
Before step 4, CATALOG.SOURCE has 0 rows. search matches only string literals (log and message texts) and documentation. It prints "No matches found" for a name used in a flow body, with only a warning on stderr and exit code 0.
callers, refs and impact find the usages without the source index.
refresh catalog full source takes about 5 s and fills about 1,350 rows. It is a cache write, which a read-only caller may not want to do. After it, search finds the body usages, and the index is kept up to date on later model changes.
