Summary

Prefer Zotero's native citationKey field when naming pages imported with /Zotero. If the native field is blank or unavailable, continue reading the legacy Citation Key: line from Extra.

Zotero 8 and later store Better BibTeX keys in the native field. With Zotero 10, Use citekey as your page title currently falls back to the full title because the extractor only checks Extra.

Validation

  • Added extractor tests for native-key precedence and legacy Extra fallback, including a blank native field.
  • Verified the field shape against Zotero 10's local API; sampled items had populated citationKey fields and no Citation Key: lines in Extra.
  • git diff --check passes.
  • The ClojureScript test suite could not be run in this environment because the Clojure CLI and project dependencies are not installed.

Related: #31 proposes the same native-field lookup. This version also covers a blank native field and includes regression tests.
