What this adds

A fourth Solutions → Finance Workflows page, paired with a scaffold-hbar template that runs on testnet. This is the coupons follow-up #810 ends by promising.

Pay bond coupons automatically with the Hedera Schedule Service issues a bond whose contract pays its own coupons in an HTS stablecoin and schedules the next payment itself through the HSS system contract at 0x16b (HIP-1215). The last payment repays principal and schedules nothing further. No keeper network, bot or cron job is involved, and the bond is the payer of its own scheduled executions — the point of the page is that this is a thing a contract can only do here.

Section Covers
Overview What a coupon is and who pays it today; scheduleCall; the self-perpetuating schedule; actors and lifecycle
Issue and fund createBond, the bond associating itself with the stablecoin via HIP-719 in its constructor, allocations, and the HBAR reserve the Start button waits for
Schedule the coupons hasScheduleCapacity + scheduleCall, gas sizing, the firing margin, payCoupon rescheduling itself, maturity
When a coupon cannot be paid Underfunded coupons retried a period later, no capacity, and deleteSchedule on stop
Receive coupons with MetaMask A wallet investor associating the token itself, then being paid without acting
Going to production Day-count conventions, holders at scale and pull-based claims, a real stablecoin, what to alert on

The paired template installs with:

npx create-scaffold-hbar@latest --template web3buidlerz/hedera-finance-templates#templates/bond-coupons

Validation

  • mint broken-links — no broken links
  • .github/scripts/check-mdx-compiles.js — page compiles
  • .github/scripts/check-terminology.sh — no retired terms
  • docs.json parses as valid JSON
  • The template itself: yarn foundry:test green (15 tests, including a missed coupon retried a period later and capacity restored), yarn next:build clean, and the whole lifecycle driven on testnet through to maturity

Replaces the outline with the page, written against the template now that it
builds and passes its own checks on testnet.

Every snippet is copied from the template rather than retyped, and the facts
that are easy to get wrong come from the contract itself: the gas a coupon is
scheduled with (2M base plus 150k per holder, because the capacity-plus-schedule
pair alone measures ~1.4M on testnet), the three-second firing margin and why it
exists, per-second schedule capacity and the walk forward when a second is full,
and what happens to a coupon that cannot be paid.

The sections the outline asked for, in its order. The lifecycle diagram follows
the shape the DvP and ATS pages use. Links are limited to pages already on main,
so nothing here depends on the other three Finance Workflows pages landing first.

The template now lives in the Hedera org repo, with every branch pushed and
the name no longer carrying its capital I. The card and the install command
point there rather than at a personal fork.
