the `PaymentFailed` event path so only `Error::PersistenceFailed` returns
`ReplayEvent`. For other errors, log the mismatch and fall back to updating only
the outbound payment to `Failed`, leaving the inbound record unchanged; retain
the existing paired-record success behavior. Verify the error variant returned
by `PaymentStore::update` and replay on its write-failure variant.

empty-default behavior.

- Around line 779-782: Update PaymentParameters::from_node_id to use LDK’s
minimum final CLTV delta, then validate each decoded circular quote route
against the receiving invoice’s minimum before sending, rejecting any path whose
final hop is missing or has a lower CLTV delta.
Review comments at @src/payment/store.rs:
- Around line 579-583: Update the TLV type numbers for the five circular-payment
fields in the `PaymentKind::Bolt11` TLV list to unused odd types, checking the
list for collisions. Keep the existing field order and `option` encoding
unchanged.

Problem
I built this after running into a practical liquidity-management problem on my own node: I needed sats to leave through one specific local channel and return through another. A peer pubkey and a receiving invoice were not enough. If pathfinding selected a different local first or final channel, a nominal “rebalance” could leave the channels in the same state—or make the imbalance worse.
The missing primitive was a circular payment whose two local channel boundaries are explicit, reviewable, and enforced throughout execution and recovery.
Approach
This PR adds a fail-closed circular-payment flow to ldk-node:
flowchart LR A[Quote exact first and last channels] --> B[Review route and fee] B --> C[Persist prepared operation] C --> D[Submit the pinned route once] D --> E[Observe the receiving channel] E -->|Exact match| F[Claim and reconcile both legs] E -->|Missing or different| G[Fail closed and record the reason]The new flow can:

The bitcoind/electrs integration matrix is intentionally left to this draft PR's CI, which provisions the required executables.
Scope and dependency order
This is the first PR in a proposed three-part stack:
No dependent PR has been opened. This draft isolates the ldk-node layer so maintainers can review the new circular-payment methods, persisted state transitions, and fail-closed restart behavior before we generate the platform bindings and open the Alby Hub integration PR.
