Keep external links to /index.html intact by disabling Netlify's Pretty URLs - #710

On docs.fluentd.org, links whose path is /index.html lose index.html even when they point to other hosts. The calyptia-fluentd package browser link opens an XML listing instead, and https://fluentd.cdn.cncf.io/index.html becomes https://fluentd.cdn.cncf.io/. The local HonKit build keeps the links as written, so this looks like Netlify's Pretty URLs post processing. …Netlify's Pretty URLs (#521) On www.fluentd.org, links whose path is `/index.html` lose `index.html` even when they point to other hosts. The calyptia-fluentd package browser links on /download/calyptia_fluentd (`https://calyptia-fluentd.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=1`) become `/?prefix=1` and open an XML listing instead. The source in `source/download/calyptia_fluentd.html.erb` is correct, so the rewrite comes from Netlify's Pretty URLs post processing. This sets `pretty_urls = false` in `netlify.toml` ([Netlify docs](https://docs.netlify.com/build/configure-builds/file-based-configuration/#pretty-urls)). The same setting stopped the rewrite on the deploy preview of fluent/fluentd-docs-gitbook#710. The site already uses `directory_indexes`, so other links should not change. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) Signed-off-by: Shizuo Fujita <fujita@clear-code.com> Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

The calyptia-fluentd package browser link (https://calyptia-fluentd.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/index.html?prefix=1/windows/) opens an XML listing instead, andhttps://fluentd.cdn.cncf.io/index.htmlbecomeshttps://fluentd.cdn.cncf.io/. The local HonKit build keeps these links as written, so the rewrite comes from Netlify's Pretty URLs post processing. This sets
pretty_urls = falseinnetlify.toml(Netlify docs). The deploy preview keeps both links as written. Internal links now point to the.htmlpages that HonKit generates, and the extensionless URLs still work.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
