Issues

• test(ruby): long_running.rb debuggee survives the stdio server's close in ruby-stop-on-entry's pending-launch case; the post-test sweep cannot see it

  bug

• launcher: tests/test_launcher.py never collects under pytest (a manual print runner importing detectors off tests/); CI runs unittest test_commands only

  bug

• spike: rdbg forked children — does the debug gem's child server become reachable, and can a second connection debug it (session tree, Ruby, Linux)

• tests: the Windows liveness probe (process.kill(pid, 0)) answers true for a terminated process with unreleased handles — the 5 s polls in bridge-tree-kill and dev-proxy-rebuild time out under load

• canary: say when the omit-optional leg pairs main's CodeLLDB pin with a published CLI that ships another

• tests: the Python integration suites' per-session logs under tests/adapters/sessions/ are never swept (1400+ session dirs since April), while the one log that explains a failure is unlinked on the next run

• Move to the v2 TypeScript SDK, then to protocol 2026-07-28 — two steps, v0.27 or later

• dart: integration_test on an iOS simulator ends with "DAP request 'launch' timed out" (30 s request ceiling vs build+install+connect)

• attach: scope the adapterConfig target keys per adapter instead of the language-agnostic ADAPTER_CONFIG_TARGET_KEYS list

• python: a debuggee that starts a Python child hangs — debugpy parks the child until a client attaches, which mcp-debugger never does (multi-process debugging design)
