params%feat!: validate chain parameters against RPCs, add the spork address and the LLMQ allowlist - #84
dash-params holds the chain parameters of mainnet, testnet and regtest as static tables. Their values match the reference implementation (dashpay/dashv24.0.0-rc.3) except that:
regtest has no DNS seed, where the reference implementation lists a placeholder;
the spork address of each chain is missing;
a chain does not say which LLMQ types it runs, so a caller cannot tell which entries of the LLMQ table apply to it.
Nothing compares the tables with the reference implementation either.
This pull request adds the missing parameters, and checks the ones the reference implementation reports over RPC against its output. The corpus holds the output of three RPCs at the genesis block of each chain, each entry under the command that produced it. The node of each chain runs with an empty data directory and no connections:
<chain> is main, test or regtest. The test builds the output it expects from the parameters and compares it with each entry. Values that no RPC reports, such as the DNS seeds, the spork address and the parameters of each LLMQ type, are not in the corpus.

Check the genesis and deployments against the reference implementation's RPCs
The hash, version, time, nonce and bits of each genesis block are compared with getblockheader, and the genesis_valid test of dash-primitives already checks that the block built from the genesis parameters has that hash. The height of every buried deployment, and the start time, timeout, EHF flag and minimum activation height of every BIP9 deployment, are compared with getdeploymentinfo. A BIP9 deployment that never activates is not reported, so its start time must say so.
ConsensusParams::llmqs lists the types a chain runs, in the reference implementation's order. ConsensusParams::llmq returns the parameters of one of them, and None for a type the chain does not run, as the reference implementation's lookup does. quorum list reports the types enabled at the tip, so at the genesis block it lists some of them, and each must be one the chain runs.
just comb (just test lint fuzz::test, CodeQL 2.27.2 included) passed on every commit, on develop (3153d6f), on x86_64 Linux.
Each corpus entry is the output of the command above it, run against the reference implementation at the pin.

📝 Summary
Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Added chain-specific spork signing addresses and LLMQ configurations for Mainnet, Testnet v3, and Regtest.
Added a lookup that returns LLMQ parameters only for types enabled on the selected chain.
Changes
Regtest now uses a placeholder DNS seed instead of an empty seed list.
Tests
Added comparisons of chain genesis and deployment parameters with reference RPC vectors, and checks that configured quorum types resolve correctly.
ChainParams now includes a spork address, and ConsensusParams exposes supported LLMQ types with a lookup method. Mainnet, testnet, and regtest receive LLMQ and spork settings; regtest also receives a DNS seed entry. New corpus tests compare genesis headers, deployment information, and configured quorum types for Main, Testnet3, and Regtest.

@kwvg#83 (opened an hour before this) already covers most of this PR, and it restructures dash-params first, so I'm moving this to draft and will rebase it onto #83 instead of competing with it.
Overlap, which I'll drop from this branch:
v24 deployment on bit 13 and the testnet schedule (#7739, #7725)
the evo_shares deployment (#7807)
dropping require_standard (#7710)
the Platform address HRP (#7285)
the per-type LLMQ size, DKG and signing parameters
What this branch would still add on top of #83, if you want it:
pkgs/params/corpus/chainparams.json5 and its test, which pin every chain's parameters to values dumped from the reference implementation at v24.0.0-rc.3, so future syncs are checked mechanically
the mainnet minimum chain work and assumed-valid block refresh
the spork address per chain
the two newest mainnet checkpoints and the transaction statistics, unless your #7379 sync already has them
the regtest placeholder DNS seed
the list of LLMQ types each chain runs
Once #83 merges I'll rebase this onto it, keep only that remainder, and re-run the per-commit checks. If you'd rather fold any of those into #83, or don't want them, say so and I'll trim or close this.

When a listed type has neither a corpus vector nor LlmqType::params(), both expected and actual are None, so this test passes. chains_match_vectors and llmqs_match_vectors do not link every listed name to an available lookup. Assert actual.is_some() for each listed type.

@coderabbitai Thanks, that's a valid gap. If a chain lists an LLMQ that has neither a vector nor params(), both sides are None and the test passes without checking anything. I'll fix it in params%feat!: add the LLMQs each chain runs: every LLMQ a chain lists must resolve to a lookup, including names that don't match any LlmqType variant. The amended commit gets the usual per-commit check before I push, so expect it in a few hours.

@PastaPastaPasta Thanks. The planned check covers the gap: require both a corpus vector and a successful lookup for every listed LLMQ, and fail on unknown names rather than skip them.
The finding remains unresolved pending the amended commit and its per-commit checks.

Final validation — Phase 1 + Phase 2
The production parameter tables and LLMQ lookup are consistent with the checked-in reference corpus, and all reported code, lint, MSRV, and platform checks succeeded. Two test-coverage gaps remain: the LLMQ corpus test checks only row counts, and the chain lookup test can pass without validating every configured LLMQ entry.
Triage: critical by gpt-6.1-sol (effort low) — The large parameter-table and consensus changes in pkgs/params/src/consensus.rs and the chain parameter files alter consensus configuration and LLMQ selection, a critical surface requiring careful validation.
These findings are from an automated code review. Verify each finding against the current code and only fix it if needed.
In `pkgs/params/tests/corpus.rs`:
- [SUGGESTION] pkgs/params/tests/corpus.rs:506-515: LLMQ corpus validation does not verify unique type coverage
Each corpus row is validated against the parameters for its own type, but the final assertion compares only the number of rows with the number of parameterized variants. Replacing one reference row with a duplicate of another valid type therefore leaves every row individually valid and preserves the count while omitting the replaced LLMQ type. Compare the set of corpus type IDs with the complete parameterized variant set and separately reject duplicate corpus IDs.
- [SUGGESTION] pkgs/params/tests/corpus.rs:518-536: LLMQ lookup coverage skips configured entries
The test iterates over `LlmqType::variants()` rather than over every LLMQ listed by the chain. A configured entry that has no matching variant or parameters can therefore produce `None == None` without being examined; this includes a mistakenly configured `LlmqNone` or an unsupported value, and future corpus/list changes can expose the same gap. The `zip` also silently drops chains if the corpus length changes. Assert that the chain and corpus lengths match, then iterate over every listed name and require that it resolves to a known type, a corpus vector, and `ConsensusParams::llmq(...)=Some(...)`, while retaining the reverse per-variant comparison.
@coderabbitai The fix is pushed, and 0e67c10 is the new head. In chains_look_up_the_llmqs_they_run, every LLMQ a chain lists must now resolve to a known type other than LlmqNone, have a corpus vector, and look up to parameters equal to that vector, so an unknown name or a None lookup fails instead of passing as None == None. The test also checks that the corpus has one chain per network before pairing them, and keeps the per-variant comparison. just comb passes on each of the four commits.

Re-review — Final validation — Phase 1 + Phase 2
The reviewed head correctly adds the reference-pinned spork addresses, regtest DNS seed, per-network LLMQ lists, and chain-aware LLMQ lookup. The corpus tests now exhaustively compare chain and LLMQ parameters and cover configured lookups in both directions; no in-scope defects were found. Build, MSRV, Bazel, lint, and stable checks were still queued or in progress in the supplied CI snapshot, with no reported failures.
Triage: normal by gpt-6.1-sol (effort low) — This is a substantial but contained parameter-data and Rust API/test change, and it does not itself modify consensus execution, cryptography, signatures, networking deserialization, funds handling, or storage migrations.
These findings are from an automated code review. Verify the current code and confirm that no unresolved issues remain.
No unresolved findings remain from the prior review on this head.
Each chain lists the LLMQ types the reference implementation runs on it,
in its order, and looks up the parameters of those types only. The types
quorum list reports at the genesis block must be among them.

params%feat!: check the chain parameters against RPCs, add the spork address and the LLMQs each chain runs

The production parameter additions match the intended static chain configuration, and the RPC-backed genesis, deployment, and quorum checks compare the reported fields correctly. One test-coverage gap remains: the quorum test validates only types reported at genesis and never validates every entry in the newly introduced per-chain LLMQ list. CI checks for this head were still queued or in progress in the supplied snapshot.

Triage: normal by gpt-6.1-sol (effort low) — This change updates chain and consensus parameter logic and adds extensive validation fixtures and tests, but it does not itself alter consensus execution, cryptography, funds handling, networking deserialization, or storage migrations.

In `pkgs/params/tests/corpus.rs`:
- [SUGGESTION → WITHDRAWN in discussion; do not fix] pkgs/params/tests/corpus.rs:162-168: LLMQ lookup coverage skips configured entries
(existing thread: https://github.com/dashpay/base-sdk/pull/84#discussion_r4369984563)
This loop is driven only by the names returned from `quorum list` at genesis. It therefore does not exercise the other entries in `consensus.llmqs`; for example, the regtest list includes `LlmqTestV17`, but that type is absent from the genesis quorum output. A configured entry that is unknown, `LlmqNone`, duplicated, or otherwise omitted from validation can therefore remain undetected. Add a forward check over every configured entry, requiring a unique entry with `ConsensusParams::llmq(...) == Some(...)`, while retaining this reverse check that genesis-enabled names are included.

dash-paramsholds the chain parameters of mainnet, testnet and regtest as static tables. Their values match the reference implementation (dashpay/dashv24.0.0-rc.3) except that:Nothing compares the tables with the reference implementation either.
