The Search > Find in Files... menu entry existed but did nothing. It now opens a new "Find in Files" tab in the Find dialog with a directory (plus a browse button), file filters (separated by ';' or spaces, "*" by default) and an "In all sub-folders" option. Find All searches every matching file with the current search options. Opened files are searched in their editor, so unsaved changes are taken into account, and binary files are skipped. Searching through many files shows a progress dialog that can be cancelled. Results go to the Search Results panel. Activating a result from a file that is not opened opens it and selects the match. The directory, filters and sub-folder option are remembered between sessions. Related to dail8859#48
