feat(core): add changeEmail and verifyEmailChange APIs - #295
This pull request adds a stateful email-change flow. Authenticated users can request a change with their current password, then verify it with a token to update their email address. The flow supports configurable token expiry and verification-email delivery.
Key Changes
Add typed changeEmail and verifyEmailChange APIs and register POST /email/change and GET /email/change/verify actions.
Validate the current password and new email, then create a hashed verification token. Tokens expire after 30 minutes by default.
On successful verification, update the user’s email and verification timestamp, revoke the token, and revoke the user’s other sessions.
Add the emailChange configuration, rate limits for both APIs, and explicit unsupported-operation errors for stateless sessions.
Usage
Configure email delivery with emailChange.sendEmailChangeVerification, then call the APIs with the authenticated user’s headers:
No actionable comments were generated in the recent review.
Walkthrough
The change adds API operations to initiate and verify an email change. Stateful sessions create and validate email-change tokens, update the email, and revoke other sessions. Configuration supports token expiry, an email callback, and rate limits. Stateless sessions expose both operations as unsupported.

handle `success === false` by throwing an `AuraAuthError` so the existing catch
returns an error response instead of resolving a redirect. Add
`INVALID_EMAIL_CHANGE_TOKEN` to `ERROR_CATALOG`, following the existing
`INVALID_RESET_PASSWORD_TOKEN` entry.
Review comments at @packages/core/src/session/stateful/verify-email-change.ts:
- Around line 20-24: Update verifyEmailChange to accept the authenticated
session userId and reject the token when it differs from verifiedToken.userId;
consume the token before updating the user, or perform both operations in one
transaction, so a failed consumption cannot leave the email changed with a
reusable token.
- Line 29: In the verify-email-change flow, replace the hardcoded session-cookie
name match with a lookup through the configured cookie manager, so custom
prefixes and session-token name overrides are honored and currentSessionId is
set before revokeAllSessions runs.

Allow the email verification link to bypass the double-submit header check.
A browser navigation sends the CSRF cookie but does not send X-CSRF-Token. This action leaves skipCSRFCheck at its default false, so verifyEmailChange can reject the link with CSRF_DOUBLE_SUBMIT_FAILED.
Pass skipCSRFCheck: true. This preserves CSRF-cookie validation while skipping the unavailable header check.
