This brings Linux Chromium and Firefox based support to parity with Windows and macOS with support for traditionally packaged, Snap and Flatpak packaged browsers. It handles both old Firefox style paths as well as the Firefox 147+ XDG paths as some of the Firefox browser developers have not implemented this change. This should handle the majority of browsers based on Chromium and Firefox.
