🧹 [de-nest string manipulation exports] - #246
Conversation
De-nested all inline closures in `stdlib/src/strings.rs`'s `register_strings` method into dedicated private top-level functions (`trim`, `replace`, `split`, `join`, `to_lower`, `to_upper`, `contains`, `from_int`, `from_float`, `from_bool`) to improve code readability and maintainability. 🎯 What: Extracted all inline closures in
register_stringsinto private top-level functions.💡 Why: String operations (trim, lower, upper, etc.) are simple and stateless. Extracting them to top-level functions drastically reduces the nesting depth and overall complexity of the
register_stringsmethod, making the file much easier to read and maintain.✅ Verification: Visually verified the refactoring via
git diffand ran the full workspace test suite (cargo test --workspace --all-targets), ensuring no regressions were introduced.✨ Result: The
register_stringsmethod is now purely focused on routing callbacks rather than implementing the string manipulation logic itself.PR created automatically by Jules for task 18302694219631424776 started by @Tcode-Motion
