Summary

  • New src/examples/legal-summarization-anthropic.ts + npm run example:legal-summarization-anthropic: produces a COTS from a real Anthropic call, writing the COTS and a run record (adapter, model, timestamps, SHA-256 of COTS and decision text) to examples/output/ for a recorded, reproducible run.
  • Clear exit when ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is unset (mock example remains the offline path).
  • New tests/anthropic-adapter.test.ts (fetch stubbed; no real API calls in CI): request shape, text-block extraction, error surfacing, missing-key guard.
  • README documents the dogfooding path.

Verification

  • npm run build clean; npm test: 39/39 pass (3 new adapter tests).
  • End-to-end proof with stubbed fetch: COTS produced through the Anthropic adapter path with claude-sonnet-4-5 in the context, decision text carried, COTS SHA-256 recorded.
  • No-key run exits 1 with the guidance message.
  • Real-key execution is left to the publisher holding the key; the sandbox has no key and makes no external calls.

Advancement Plan Phase 5: publisher-side dogfooding.
