Summary

  • Add the RFC-0002 COTS schema v1.2.0 types to src/cots.ts: EvidenceItem.source_type (human-authored / human-curated / model-generated / mixed), evidence.chain_termination (terminal / bounded_recursion + max_levels / unbounded_recursion), both optional
  • Layer 2 now flags recursive evidence chains per RFC-0002: any decision whose chain contains a model-generated evidence item gets a flag stating the chain does not terminate at a human-readable source, naming the declared policy (or the terminal default). Flags, never rejects
  • Three new Layer 2 tests (bounded policy, terminal default, human-authored clean case)

Verification

  • npx vitest run: 21/21 tests pass
  • npx tsc --noEmit: clean
