New entries for quantecon.org/activity, from public QuantEcon activity. The Activity feed wrote them in a run covering 2026-09-22 to 2026-09-29 (run log).

File New entries
_data/activity/2026-09-29-lectures.yml 1, in a new file

News candidates. People write News, so the feed only flags these; the News candidates issue in QuantEcon/reports-activity lists each once.

PR-only mode. The feed opens its PRs but doesn't merge them. Review the entries, then merge or close this PR. The feed opens no new Activity PR while this one is open, and its next run re-checks the last 7 days.

Brings in the Activity rail on /news/ (#291) and the feed's first
lecture entry (#293). README's line on where Activity appears now names
both: /activity/, beside News on /news/ and, as its three newest rows,
on the home page.

Part of #279.
