fix: support Node 22 and 24 and explain first-run indexing

CBC could install on Node versions that cannot run its local models.
Requires Node.js 22 or newer and tests Node 22 and 24 in CI.
First searches explain that indexing has started and when to retry.
Tested: build and full tests on both supported Node versions; all CI checks pass.
