37 known vulnerabilities in 12.3.0. Pillow 13 requires Python 3.11, which CI, the Docker image and the server already use.
Transitive dependency (from requests) with a known vulnerability in the production venv.

Pillow 13.0.0 (37 known vulnerabilities in 12.3.0, published on Oct 22 and 23) and certifi 2026.10.19 pinned as a transitive dependency, both found by the ops audit of the production venv. Pillow 13 requires Python 3.11, which CI, the Docker image and the server already use.
Tested on Python 3.12 (the server's): full test suite, pip check, and pdfplumber text and image extraction from a PDF with images.
