pylcm's unread-function validation rejects registrations left behind when a policy or solver replaces their consumers. That prevented construction of the ACA baseline benchmark and policy variants.
Register MAGI with Medicaid-expansion eligibility, keep insurer risk prediction in the regime pool so the community-rated premium override can remove it, and register transfers for the brute-force asset laws that consume them. Existing income, eligibility, premium and budget functions continue to supply the calculations.
Companion compatibility change for pylcm #604, stacked on
compat/pylcm-array-gridsat the revision already pinned there (4862f6f84df1a384e66c416820c8c840d136da4b).Validation against the candidate pylcm implementation: focused registration tests; baseline, ACA-policy and NBEGM-policy construction and template checks; premium and SSI/MAGI anchors; strict normalization of the frozen baseline benchmark parameters. The all-files pre-commit checks pass.
Validation is bounded to construction, templates, parameter normalization and the policy anchors. Scientific solves and complete external ACA workflow parameter preparation remain for their existing validation pipelines.
