Rename the DiskSpaceLow alert to DiskSpaceWarning #8236
NethServer 8 and NethSecurity both send alerts to my.nethesis.it, but they use different names for the same disk space alert. When a partition is more than 80% full, NethServer 8 raises DiskSpaceLow and NethSecurity raises DiskSpaceWarning. Both products already name the over-90% alert DiskSpaceCritical, with the same thresholds. Using the same names makes alerts easier to recognize, filter, and handle in the same way on the portal, regardless of the product that sent them.
Proposed solution
Rename the NethServer 8 Metrics alert DiskSpaceLow to DiskSpaceWarning. Thresholds, severity, and messages stay the same.
The new name is applied automatically when the Metrics application is updated. Side effects for administrators, to be described in the release notes:
Alertmanager silences that match the old name no longer apply and must be created again.
If the alert is active during the update, a "resolved" notification for DiskSpaceLow is sent, followed by a new DiskSpaceWarning notification after 5 minutes.
Alternative solutions
Keep the current name and map it on the my.nethesis.it side. This adds a special case for each product instead of removing the difference.
Additional context
Before the release, check that nothing on my.nethesis.it depends on the DiskSpaceLow name, for example notification rules or translations.
