Summary

  • Added scoped history deletion support and deletion controls in the history picker.
  • Implemented on-demand loading of persisted history for both the history picker and console Up/Down navigation.
  • Added a command to delete all history entries from the active scope, including the on-disk history file.

…etion

- Replace simulated row checkboxes with native Quick Pick multi-selection and toolbar pagination
- Preserve the loaded picker range and selected history context after deletion
- Serialize asynchronous Up/Down navigation, reject stale page anchors, and avoid stale input drafts
- Compact deletion rules only when a later rule safely subsumes them
- Remove unused deferred-history tracking fields and refresh tests and documentation

- Clear hidden selections when search changes, and show theme-coloured markers for checked entries
- Keep deletion in one picker toolbar action, with no per-entry trash buttons
- Page matching history by occurrence ID to avoid concurrent offset drift
- Wait for pending console submissions before querying worker history
- Add pagination and pending-write regression tests and update documentation
Keep native multi-select and the single toolbar trash action. Let VS Code own selection events, preserve selected occurrences on page refresh, and test checking entries and Select All without item replacements.

- Recover interrupted records with submitted-at headers
- Continue paging past deleted navigation and picker cursors
- Maintain a 400-row sliding foreground history window and stable reverse-search cursor
- Remove unused synchronous picker helpers and migrate regression tests
- Preserve deletion replay protection without unsafe tombstone expiry

… safely

- Automatically page when focus reaches the last loaded entry, with toolbar fallback for mouse-wheel scrolling
- Keep empty F8 picker open and show empty state in its search placeholder and title
- Handle deleted anchors for newest-first picker and chronological navigation independently
- Preserve valid CRLF-tagged records during interrupted-write recovery
- Add regression tests and update history documentation

…cursors

- OK and Enter restore checked commands chronologically as one editable, unexecuted input
- Keep deletion exclusively on toolbar trash, without highlighted-entry fallback
- Persist monotonic history ordering and propagate cursor keys for multi-deletion paging
- Show only the empty-history search hint or concise history-loaded count
- Add regression tests for multiline draft and deleted anchor paging

- Keep the selected occurrence for single-entry Up/Down navigation
- Navigate newest-first for combined drafts and restore the unexecuted draft on Down
- Exercise real arrow navigation in unit regression tests
- Document Quick Pick shared accept-event limitation
