Reproduction steps

1. Open Command Code Desktop.
2. Create or open a project/folder.
3. Start Chat 1 inside the project.
4. Provide important project context, decisions, conventions, and instructions.
5. Close Chat 1.
6. Create Chat 2 inside the same project/folder.
7. Ask Chat 2 to use or recall the context, decisions, and instructions from Chat 1.
8. Observe that Chat 2 does not have access to the previous chat context or memories.

Expected behavior

All chats created inside the same project/folder should be able to access the project's shared memory and durable context from previous chats.

The project should provide a shared context layer containing:

• Important decisions
• Project instructions
• Previous chat summaries
• Relevant files and conventions
• User-approved persistent memories

Users should be able to control, inspect, update, and clear this shared project memory.

Actual behavior

Each new chat inside the same project appears to start without the important context from previous chats.

The user must manually repeat background information, decisions, instructions, and project history in every new chat. This causes duplicated work, inconsistent responses, and loss of continuity across project conversations.

Thanks for the detailed request. Project-level memory shared across chats is a great idea and we've logged it. For now, project instructions and conventions you want every chat to see can go in the project's instruction file, which every new chat reads.
