Version text only, per the final checklist: VersionSuffix removed and PackageReleaseNotes rewritten in the four csproj; the CHANGELOG heading is dated; the --prerelease and 2.0.0-preview.3 text is gone from the README, the package READMEs and the reference page, and the preview badge from the README header; the two "(preview.3)" markers in the Changed entries are dropped. The scripts default to 2.0.0. docs/api-surface/2.0.0.txt is the surface of the release build; it differs from the frozen 2.0.0-preview.3 file in the four informational-version lines only.

The 2.0.0 release pull request: version text only, no library change. Merging it publishes the four packages from master (the push, not a tag).

No request-path file (the
