Thank you for your interest in the RVC3 Python package, and I'm sorry for the long delay: various life events got in the way, and since May I've been doing major work across the Robotics Toolbox, Swift and SpatialGeometry.

Your first error (version() takes 0 positional arguments) was a name clash in rvctool.py; it's fixed in release 1.0.0.

The second (no running event loop from websockets) is likely fixed by the recent Swift work. Please upgrade (pip install -U rvc3python swift-sim) and, if it still happens, post an Issue with your versions and the full error.

In future, please post bug reports as an Issue rather than a discussion item.
