• lc materialize --json: recipe stdout is interleaved with the JSON report on stdout

LightconeResearch/lightcone-cli#223 · Filter by author cailmdaley opened on Sep 27, 2026

• lc materialize rehashes a shared declared input once per task: the Versions memo never crosses the task boundary

LightconeResearch/lightcone-cli#222 · Filter by author cailmdaley opened on Sep 27, 2026

• Image identity hashes every COPY source, so a COPY . . Containerfile marks outputs stale on any new file

LightconeResearch/lightcone-cli#216 · Filter by author rpaviot opened on Sep 21, 2026

• Root output re-export (from: sub.output) cannot be used as another root output's input

LightconeResearch/lightcone-cli#215 · Filter by author rpaviot opened on Sep 21, 2026

• lc run fails with IncompleteFilesException after a cancelled/wall-killed run; no --rerun-incomplete

LightconeResearch/lightcone-cli#214 · Filter by author rpaviot opened on Sep 21, 2026

• lc run: rule params include git_sha/lc_version, so any commit re-materialises every output

• Docs: getting-started pins version 0.0.13, and "keeps undeclared files out" overstates the sandbox

• container: in astra.yaml is silently ignored

• lc init with uv < 0.12 leaves a half-built project; minimum uv version undocumented

• Umbrella analyses: lc cannot run at a parent that composes path-backed sub-analyses

• NERSC/Perlmutter: what it took to run lc reliably — proposed "HPC and venues" guidance

  LightconeResearch/lightcone-cli#208 · Filter by author lhparker1 opened on Sep 3, 2026

• Root spec with path: sub-analyses cannot materialize anything — sub output ids get a dot, so the parent can't execute even its own flat outputs

• Multi-line recipes run under bash -c with no set -e, so a mid-recipe failure can be recorded as success
