Why do authors so rarely put dates in their documents? This article leads with 'is the latest open-weight release..' but there's no context, when was this written? Is it really still the latest? |

Hi @tcytra, thanks for the feedback. The point about dates is fair, so here is the timeline for this page:
So the page is two days old, and the statement is current: Qwen-Image-2.1 was released by the Qwen team on 2026-09-20 and is the newest open-weight entry in the Qwen-Image series. The weights the page uses are linked under Related Links (Comfy-Org/Qwen-Image-2.1 on Hugging Face, upstream code at QwenLM/Qwen-Image-2.1), and the templates this page documents ship inside ComfyUI, so a newer release would show up there first. On the missing dates: tutorial pages on docs.comfy.org do not render a published or last-updated date, so the commit history in this repository is the only timeline (the page carries a keep-it-updated reminder instead). Your point that a reader cannot tell how fresh a page is stands, and I have flagged it as a suggestion to surface a last-updated date on tutorial pages. |

This just failure of developer of the website. Nothing should be posted without date info on it. |

Hi @Dariusz1989, thanks for adding to this. The date concern is fair, so here is exactly where this page stands. The timeline
Git history is the authoritative record: https://github.com/Comfy-Org/docs/commits/main/tutorials/image/qwen/qwen-image-2-1.mdx Why you do not see a date on the page On the substance |
